Directions from Highway 50: From east-bound Hwy 50 exit 59th St, left on 59th St, left on Folsom Blvd, right into CVS parking lot. From west-bound Hwy 50 exit 65th St, right on 65th St, moving immediately to left lane, left on Folsom Blvd, right into CVS parking lot. Restrooms available at start, Mercy General Hospital, and businesses throughout the route. (5K=3.1 miles; 10K=6.2 miles)Enjoy the tree-lined streets of Elmhurst, one of Sacramento's older neighborhoods with homes from small and quaint to large and stately. Julia P Morgan, the famous architect of Hearst Castle in San Simeon, CA, built one of these homes at 38th and T Streets. Continue through other grand neighborhoods passing by parks. The 10K route passes through the popular McKinley Park.

Store open M-Sat 7 am-10 pm, Sun 8 am-10 pm; call for holiday hrs. The Walk Box is to the left of the front door, past the registers. There is a photo counter with chairs and the box is under the last cube, closest to the wall.

Driving to the start box
There are restrooms at the start, but they are locked. Ask a cashier for the key. 5039 Folsom Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95819, (916) 739-0740. From east-bound Capital City Freeway (Bus 80) exit N St, bear right onto N St, bear slight right onto Folsom Blvd, left into CVS parking lot. From west-bound Capital City Freeway (Bus 80) exit J St, left on J St, right on 39th St, left on Folsom Blvd, left into CVS parking lot.
