Event comments

City Hall is at 11 English St, just off Bassett St( on the 10k route). Look for "History Spots", provided by the Petaluma Museum Association, on old buildings in the downtown area. Click with your smart phone to hear about the location. McNears on Petaluma Blvd is an old-time pub attached to a a live music venue. Tall Toad Music, a musical instrument store, is also on Petaluma Blvd. Both are on the 5k & 10k routes

Event information

Walk only during daylight hours. The route is on city sidewalks. Some steps which can be bypassed by wheelchairs and strollers. Highlights include many beautiful historical homes and the locations for many movies, including American Graffiti. There are many restaurants, pubs, and stores, as well as the Petaluma River. Visit a seed bank! Petaluma's historic downtown is on the National Register of Historic Places. Petaluma is the southern entrance to Sonoma County and it's 195 wineries.
