Named after a neighborhood in Manhattan, Murray Hill is a 1907 replat of the northern section of the Edgewood subdivision. In 1914, streetcar service was extended to the community and in 1915, Murray Hill was incorporated as its own town. Many early residents were railroad workers who built homes in Murray Hill due to its close proximity to the terminal in Lackawanna. Murray Hill was annexed to the City of Jacksonville in 1925. Fee for all walkers is $4. Water and restrooms are not available at the start point but are available along the route. DIRECTIONS: On street parking is available around the park. Look for red shirts of our members in the park for registration table.
