Event comments
Spend time at the Maine Audubon's headquarters which features an environmental education center, nature store and a 65-acre sanctuary. They have beautiful peony gardens as well as the Carroll J. Tiernan Meditation Garden, which acts as a reminder of how yoga and meditation surrounded by nature can help bring peace, strength and healing to the mind, body, and spirit. Carroll was a long-time Maine Audubon employee as well as a long-time active officer of SMVA.

The special program, 'Lighthouses II' only applies to the 10k walk.Restrooms are located in close-by businesses (Casco Bay Arena, Family Ice and Wal-Mart). Dogs are not permitted on the property of Gilsland Farm Audubon Center.
