Enjoy beautiful mountain views (it is in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains), paths winding past old pasture trails and historic buildings as you walk through Sedro Woolley's abandoned Northern State Hospital Grounds and alongside the Hospital. At one time, the hospital was the largest hospital for the mentally ill and was a town unto itself that included a working farm. You will walk past old barns, sheds, a cannery, and an unmarked gravesite.
