Event comments
The 10K is rated a 2B, starting with a walk through a ravine on the PUD trail. Walk will go by Kingston High School Athletic fields and continue on trail for Carpenter Lake Nature Preserve. Continue on walk on W Kingston Rd to return to waterfront. 5k route is along the waterfront and does not go up any hills and is rated 1A. Both walks include views of Puget Sound and marina. ESVA challenges: 39 counties. Strolling Along the River: Carpenter Creek. That's Entertainment: Cultural-Theater, Library.

Event information
Park on Edmonds side, and walk on for more convience. Walk a short distance to the Kingston's Kiwanis Park with the gazebo on the right. Free parking for two hour limit in Port of Kingston parking lot designated areas. Over 2hrs there is a parking fee. Limited parking available on the streets. Bathrooms are at the ferry terminal and the library. The 10k walk can be more of a hike, and might need poles to complete.
