Event comments
On this walk you visit historical sights, large parks, old town Union City, and the recreation trail alongside Alameda Creek. A simple, yet touching tribute to the heroes of Flight 93 is along the way. Union Landing Shopping Center is a 105-acre shopping center with more than 30 shops and restaurants including a Walmart and the 25-screen Century Theater.

Driving to the start box
32220 Dyer Street, Union City, CA 94587 From the North take Hwy 880 South. Exit Whipple, left. Over freeway and Whipple curves Left, becomes Dyer. Left to shopping center "Century Theatres" sign-4th stoplight. Straight for Starbuck's. Togo's is 2 stores behind Starbuck's Left. From the South take Hwy 880 North. Exit Alvarado-Niles and turn Left over the freeway. Right at Krispy Kreme sign driveway. Drive through parking lot to area beyond Starbucks. Park in central area away from restaurants. Enter Togo's and ask for walk box at "phone order counter".
