Also walk through two parks on shaded paved and gravel paths including a nature trail through dense woodland and wetlands. ** If arriving by SEPTA rail it is best to register via OSB and contact the POC for help to connect to the trail route.

This event also has a physical start box. These are the driving directions:

North Penn Commons, 608 E. Main Street, Lansdale, PA 19446 (215-368-1601). Park at REAR of building. The box is at the curved YMCA desk (typically found under the desk) in the lobby of the North Penn Commons building. The desk (usually unstaffed) is about 100 feet from the entrance, on the right, just after the swimming pool viewing windows. From the PA Turnpike I-276, take Exit 339/Fort Washington onto PA-309 N toward Ambler. Go approx. 6 miles to Welsh Rd/PA-63 and turn left. (Note: A left turn cannot be made directly from PA-309 to PA-63. Just before the intersection, turn right on Lower State Rd. then left on PA-63/Welsh Rd.) Continue on PA-63 approx. 3 miles. Turn left on Highland Ave., then left on Forest Ave to the North Penn Commons parking lot for the Lansdale Area Family YMCA.
