Event comments

Walk through the quaint and historical towns of New Hope, PA and Lambertville, NJ with Victorian style homes, antique shops, boutiques and restaurants; pass the station of a steam locomotive sightseeing train. Also includes a section of towpath in both towns along the Delaware Canal.This walk has been re-named in honor of Ron Nelson who served as LBW president for 11 yrs. In addition, Ron was also trailmaster and responsible for many Traditional Events and most of the Year Round Events that LBW currently sponsors including the New Hope YRE. This walk was Ron's favorite.

This event also has a physical start box. These are the driving directions:

6426 Lower York Rd (US-202), New Hope 18938 (215-862-5221). From East or West: PA Turnpike to Willow Grove (Exit 343). Then PA-611 N for 9.3 miles to exit for US-202 N/New Hope, then 9 miles to start point on right. From North: US-202 S through Somerville, NJ. Cross Delaware River (toll bridge), go 1.8 miles to start point on the left. From the South: I-95 N through Chester and Philadelphia to Exit 51. Left onto Turnersville Rd. Go 5 miles to where it tee's into PA-32 and turn left. PA-32 N for 4 miles to New Hope. Left on Bridge St. (PA-179), then left on Lower York Rd. (US-202). One mile to the New Hope Inn & Suites on the left. Register here then drive to the start of the walk. Directions are on the walk instructions.

The walk starts in the parking lot of the New Hope Shopping Center (McCaffrey's Market) 1.2 Miles from the New Hope Inn.

PLEASE do not mix and match between the two registration methods. It will confuse you and the club. Choose one, OSB or PSB, to complete the event.
