Event comments

Hanscom Park is Omaha's oldest public park. The surrounding midtown Hanscom Park Neighborhood has many historic homes and includes U.S. President Gerald R. Ford's birthsite. This walk also goes through the historic Field Club neighborhood and the Field Club trail, a popular multiuse trail that blooms in the spring and shows its colors in the fall.

Event information

Daily dawn to dusk. Registration point has modern restrooms and drinking water. Port-a-potties available seasonally at walking start point. After registering, drive 2 miles to walk start - free parking. Walk goes through neighborhoods & parks. Trail is on paved sidewalks and trails. Trails may not be cleared after a snowstorm. "
