Come walk through the amazing scenery of historic Harpers Ferry and Bolivar. Choose a 5K or combined 10K self-paced or guided walk beginning at The Barn in Harpers Ferry (behind the Light Horse Inn, 1062 W. Washington Street). Volksmarching (from German Volksmarch, peoples march) is a form of non-competitive walking that developed in Europe in the mid-late 1960s. The Volksmarch supports our mission to revitalize the First Zion Baptist Church building as a cultural arts center to preserve its rich history for current and future generations who live in or visit Harpers Ferry and Bolivar. Homemade soup and bread for the soul & the soles included in the registration fee.
