This year's Remembrance walk has been moved to Palmer Park near Skippack/Collegeville. We will do a 5k guided walk, the Remembrance ceremony, picnic (LBW members only), followed by another 5k walk.

Your chance to visit the Vietnam Veterans Memorial without a trip to Washington DC. A 375 foot long replica will be at Windlestrae Park for a short time in early July. It is well worth a visit.

A 4km loop starting at the Nature Inn in Bald Eagle State that follows the "Butterfly Trail", a wide relatively flat trail for snowshoeing or XC skiing. Other suitable trails are also available.

Walk through 300 years of American history where the Moravians meet the Industrial Revolution. The 18th Century lives today in the downtown, also known as Christmas City USA.

Like a phoenix, the ruins of industry are replaced by greenways, new construction, the arts, and world-class education. This walk is the intersection of the past and the present.

The Delaware & Lehigh Trail is 165 miles (266K) from Philly to Wilkes-Barre It connects to Delaware & Raritan Canal in NJ with a series of connecting loops between the two states. Bike any portion.

A delightful walk thru Bryn Mawr residential neighborhoods and downtown as well as Bryn Mawr College, the alma mater of Katherine Hepburn.

The walk is a city and trail walk thru Collegeville, Trappe and the campus of Ursinus College. The walk goes thru Hunsberger Woods and passes the impressive Berman Museum which is free.

Doylestown = museums (art, pre-industrial tools, pottery/tile, Civil War), a castle, labyrinth, library, nature path, unique shopping and dining, and Victorian architecture.

The Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor (D&L Trail) is 165 miles (266K) long extending from Wilkes-Barre (NE PA) to Bristol (NE of Phila.). Trail is mostly crushed stone with some pavement.

A Historic town walk on city sidewalks and paved trails. Several moderate hills. Highlights include a bridge crossing into Phillipsburg, NJ, the Crayola Experience, and the Karl Stirner Arts Trail.

The walk route is mostly on macadam walking paths passing buildings, residences, and a Labyrinth in the Peter Becker Community as well as through the neighborhoods of Harleysville.

Enjoy views of the Pennypack Creek valley and walk through the historic town of Bryn Athyn. You can also venture into the town of Southampton in Bucks County.

This event is always a good choice when it's too cold or too hot to walk outdoors. Inside the mall the temperature is always comfortable. Over 400 stores on 3 levels and over 40 eating options.

Cross the Delaware River and PA/NY border, like a mule pulling a canal boat, using the magnificently restored Roebling Aqueduct with numerous information signs. Pass the Zane Grey Home and Museum.

Historic town walk accessible via SEPTA rail. Trail is on residential and downtown sidewalks and goes through parks on shaded paved and gravel paths including a woodland and wetlands nature trail.

Walk starts in Morrisville PA crosses the Delaware River into the capitol government complex of Trenton, NJ, passing the William Trent House. Both the 5K & 10 K walks go by the NJ Capitol building.

Foodies, history buffs, antique lovers will find something in the historic towns of New Hope and Lambertville; see Victorian homes and a sightseeing steam locomotive, walk along the Delaware Canal.

This walk highlights the history of Newtown, one of the oldest towns in Pennsylvania. It passes many information markers provided by the Newtown Historic Society.

Two 5km walks through historic Perkasie and Sellersville, residential areas, and parks, mostly along paved trails and sidewalks. The Perkasie walk is rated 2A. The Sellersville walk is rated 1B.

Pass through Philly Historic District, then scenic views from the Ben Franklin Bridge, going to Camden NJ, through the Rutgers Univ. campus and along scenic river front to the Battleship New Jersey.

Walk beautiful neighborhoods & along Wissahickon Creek.  Main street boasts cobblestones on the street & historic facades on many buildings.  Explore many shops, restaurants and galleries.    

Pass the house where Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence, Independence Hall, Liberty Bell, Betsy Ross house, Museum of the American Revolution, and much more.

Pass grave of Benjamin Franklin, Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, City Hall, various museums, Philly Art Museum "Rocky" steps, and the five original open-space parks, planned by William Penn in 1862.

The Circuit is a vast network of inter-connected trails in the Greater Philadelphia area. The plan is to have about 800 miles of connected trails when completed. Many of these trails are already open.

Walk through Quakertown, originally known as Richland and the Great Swamp. This Bucks County town was a stopover for coaches traveling between Allentown and Philadelphia. There is a lot to see here.

Quaint village with shops, galleries & restaurants.  Follow the Skippack Trail to community park.  Skippack has a place in history as one of Washington’s encampments in the Revolutionary War.  

Mostly macadam / sidewalk trail. 55+ communities, historic and business districts. The Souderton Historic District is listed on the National Register of Historic Places for architecture.

Hike the Appalachian Trail from PA across the Delaware River to New Jersey within the 70,000 acre Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. The 5K walk is on pavement and is rated 1A.

Visit Yardley, an historic town along the Delaware River in Bucks County PA. See interesting architecture and an attractive town lake. The walk also includes the Delaware Canal towpath.
