Event comments
This walk is dedicated to the memory of "Indie", Martin Callahan's canine walking partner and Best Friend for many years, who passed away in July 2015. Most of you have seen Indie on the trails or his pictures published with many of Martin's articles in The American Wanderer over the years.

Event information
The walk will follow a route leading to the South Texas Medical Foundation Walking trail. During the spring the trail should be thick with wildflowers and you may spot some of the many deer that populate the area. The walk will also include some of the new buildings and trails of the University of Texas Health Science Center campus.

Driving to the start box
5822 Babcock Road, San Antonio, TX 78240. Going west on Northeast Loop 410 take Exit 14C and turn right onto Babcock Road for about 3.2 miles until reaching the start at Martha's Mexican Restaurant on your left. Hours are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. M-Sat; 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sun.
