Event comments
Do not leave car in store lot - walk box has a parking map. The start point is three blocks from the Columbia City Station but this is included in the walk distance. For restrooms near the start point visit the PCC grocery next door. Pets are prohibited on the Light Rail but are allowed on the route if arriving otherwise. Leash and clean up laws apply.

Event information
Explore quaint residential neighborhoods and several parks. Walk through the Rowing Center on Lake Washington and along shoreline, then through the Columbia City Historical Landmark District with its shops and restaurants. Farmer's Market on Wednesdays May-October.

Driving to the start box
4805 Rainier Avenue South. From Light Rail disembark at Columbia City Station and exit at south end of station. Left onto S Edmunds Street and walk two blocks to Rainier Avenue S. Left on Rainier for one block to the shop. Driving Directions: From NB/SB I-5: Exit onto I-90; take exit 3 on right (Rainier Avenue South). Turn right onto Rainier and drive 2.3 miles. One half-block south of S. Alaska Street, turn right into store parking lot. You may park here to register but will have to move vehicle while walking (see walk box for directions to suggested parking). Ask for walk box at counter. Metro bus 7, 9, 50, 106.
