Restaurant open M-F 6am-4pm, Sat 7am-4pm, closed Sundays, call for holiday hrs. Walk box is on the bookcase to the left of the main entrance of Karen's Bakery. Take a trip back into the time of the Gold Rush through old town Folsom, passing historic sites such as the terminus of the Sacramento Valley Railroad, Pony Express Station, the historic Folsom Powerhouse, the Chinese Cemetery, and old Victorian homes. Dogs cannot go into Chinese Cemetery and State Park. Portions of the route may be slick and/or muddy after rains.

Take the dirt paths walked by Native Americans and settlers by serene Lake Natoma and the American River with views of Folsom Prison and Maidu Indian ruins. 705 Gold Lake Dr, Ste 340, Folsom, CA 95630, (916) 985-2665. US 50 E, take Folsom exit, turn left onto Folsom Blvd, past Natoma St, take ramp on right to Historic District. Continue straight on Sutter St for short distance, turn left on Reading St, turn right on Leidesdorff St. Turn left on Gold Lake Dr. Karen's Bakery on corner of Gold Lake Dr and Leidesdorff St. Free parking available in two story brick garage, corner of Leidesdorff and Reading.
