On roads, sidewalks, & paths through town of Ipswich. Settled 1630, here the cry "no taxation without representation" was 1st heard. "Birthplace of Am. Independence" boasts more 17th century buildings than any other place in America.

Driving to the start box
110 County Rd, Ipswich, MA Hrs: M-F 5:45 AM to 10:00 PM, Sat 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Sun 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. From I-95 North or South: Exit 54 onto Rt 133 East toward Rowley. Follow Rts 1A & 133 through center of Ipswich. At traffic light, turn left into YMCA parking lot, back from road. From Rt 128 North or South: Exit 20A Rt 1A North to Ipswich. In Ipswich, pass Whittier Motel on right. Turn right at traffic light to YMCA parking lot, back from road.
