Event information

Route goes through Chesterley Park, follows paved Powerhouse Canal Pathway and through residential neighborhoods and parks with some small hills. There is a 1K extension to a site that qualifies for the AVA's Walk With America's Vets Challenge. Restrooms available at start point. Dogs on leash only. AVA Challenge: Little Free Library only on 10K. Wa. State Challenges: 39 Cos. - Yakima.

Driving to the start box

3807 River Rd, Yakima WA 98902 (509) 469-9900. I-82 to Yakima. SOUTHBOUND: Take Exit 31A Hwy 12 west toward Naches. NORTHBOUND: take Exit 31 Hwy 12 west toward Naches. Proceed west on Hwy 12 and take 40th Ave exit. On 40th, go straight through 1st stoplight and turn left at 2nd stoplight onto River Rd. Turn left into driveway between McDonald's and Powerhouse Grill and park in Bi-Mart parking lot. Don't park in Powerhouse Grill lot. Registration stand is inside first door of restaurant on left. Daily 6 am to 8 pm.
