Event information

Walk goes past the only river lighthouse west of the Mississippi. The 5K and 10K walk the paved Sacajawea Heritage Trail along the Columbia River and the 10K continues to and goes through Columbia Park. In Columbia Park, there is some walking on grassy areas and along road shoulders. After walking the river walk(s), you will drive about 6 miles to the 1K carousel walk. Carousel operating hours are limited. Call 509-585-4293 if interested in riding the carousel.. Walk is open daily dawn to dusk except last week in July when river trail is closed for hydroplane races. Call for closed dates. State Challenges: 39 Cos. - Benton.
