Event comments
There are wine tasting opportunities, many restaurants and interesting "one of a kind" shops around the Plaza and elsewhere in this popular Wine Country destination. The April 2014 Smithsonian Magazine lists Healdsburg #2 in their article of Best Small Towns to Visit! The Plaza has free summer concerts, art, antique and collectibles fairs. Dr. Daniel Rose, a family practice doctor in Healdsburg for 35 years invented the Nicotine Skin Patch.

Healdsburg-"A Small Town for All Seasons", a town renowned for its eclectic offering of all the finest things in life-food, wine, friends and fun! Adel's is open 6am to 10pm every day, but walk dawn to dusk. Open holidays, but call to verify hours. Walk box is beside the bench in the entry. Walk is on city streets and bike paths, passing many historic homes, Healdsburg Museum in an old Carnegie Library, Bear Republic Brewing Co, Saturday AM Farmers Market May through November, and Wednesday PM June through October. There is a Wine Library inside the public library on Piper St. At Adels, please ask if you need to use the restroom. Explain that you are doing the walk. They'll say yes, but their sign says "customers only". They would appreciate your business before or after the walk!

Driving to the start box
198 Dry Creek Rd, Healdsburg, CA 95448. Take the Dry Creek Rd Exit off Hwy 101, go East on Dry Creek Rd to first stop light. Adels is in front of the Best Western. Turn right and park on Grove St. Adels phone 707-433-6422
