Event information
Walk daily, dawn to dusk. The route takes you over city streets and sidewalks, past Lincoln's Tomb, State Capitol, Lincoln's home and law office. ID is required to enter the Capitol building. Memorials are closed New Year's, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Wheelchairs and strollers may need to detour around some steps.

This event also has a physical start box. These are the driving directions:
525 N 6th St.; Take I-55 to Springfield. Exit on SR36/72 west (Exit 98/Clearlake Ave.) Follow through to 6th Street. Turn right on 6th. For motel reservations only call 1-(888) 779-9100. If coming from the south on I-55 exit to downtown and stay on 6th street to hotel. Hotel address is 525 North 6th Street
