#NationalWalkingWeek "240 Martin Memorial Walk" This memorial walk is to honor Martin R. Britton, Vice-President of the UpState PathFinders who passed away, on December 5, 2017, after a massive stroke. Martin distinguished himself by providing seven years of outstanding service to the UpState PathFinders Volksmarch Club and to AVA.

Look for the registration tables near the log cabin near the park entrance. A Guided walk is also available at 2:40 pm. The three traditional events and YRE will be available to walk on April 1st, 2nd, or 6th. Registration location changes each day. April 1, 2022, the location is 120 E. Park Ave., Greenville, SC, 29617. April 2nd registration location is 103 N. Main St., Greenville, SC, 29617, and April 6th registration location is 140 Discovery, Ln., Clemson, SC, 29651.

Driving to the start
From Charlotte, NC - take I-85 south. Take the I-385 exit, EXIT 51, toward Greenville/Columbia. Take the SC-146/Woodruff Rd exit, EXIT 51A, on the left. Merge onto I-385 N via EXIT 51C toward Greenville/Downtown. Take the Stone Ave/US-276 exit, EXIT 42, toward Travelers Rest. Turn right onto E Stone Ave/US-276 W. Turn slightly left onto E. Park Ave. Destination on the left, McPherson Park.
