Event comments
April 1 to 7 every year is designated as National Walking Week and "National Walking Day" on the first Wednesday in April. AVA clubs will be hosting walks across the Nation. This year, the UpState PathFinders will be hosting four walks, three in Greenville, SC, and one in Greer, SC with the registration/starting point being at three different locations on the following dates: April 1st, 2nd, and 6th. All walks are available each day. On Saturday we will have two walks starting at this location. Open registration will begin at 8:00 am and end at 4:00 pm. Guided group walk for Hampton/Pettigru at 1:30 pm. Free parking garage on weekends at 66 Richardson St. next block over from Start/Finish.

Event information
The Hampton-Pinckney Historic District, is one of the oldest in-town neighborhoods featuring the Victorian Era. Named to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977 and the first locally designated Preservation Overlay District.The three traditional events and YRE will be available to walk on April 1st, 2nd, or 6th. Registration location changes each day. April 1, 2022, the location is 120 E. Park Ave., Greenville, SC, 29617. April 2nd registration location is 103 N. Main St., Greenville, SC, 29617, and April 6th registration location is 140 Discovery, Ln., Clemson, SC, 29651.

Driving to the start
From Charlotte, NC - take I-85 south. Take the I-385 exit, EXIT 51, toward Greenville/Columbia. Take the SC-146/Woodruff Rd exit, EXIT 51A, on the left. Merge onto I-385 N via EXIT 51C toward Greenville/Downtown. I-385 N becomes E North St/SC-183. Keep right at the fork to go on Beattie Pl/SC-183. Turn left onto N Main St. Destination on the right.
