Walk #1 of 6 walk week end. Participants may register and pay for all walks at this event. The Start Point will be manned from 8AM - 10AM on Friday September 9. The walk will be on sidewalks, Streets, or gravel roads. The walk will pass the Jerauld County Courthouse, Shakespeare Garden and other points of interest in Wessington Springs.

Driving to the start
531 Dakota Avenue South, Wessington Springs SD. From I-90 east or west, exit 310 to US-281 north. Take US-281 north for 26 miles to SD Highway 34. Turn left, west, on SD-34 for 6 miles to Dakota Avenue South. Turn right north on Dakota Avenue for .15 mile to the City Park on the left. Turn left onto the drive way into the park to the picnic area and start point.
