Event comments
Walk #3 of 6 walk week end. Participants may register for and pay for all six walks at this event. The start point will be manned from 8:00am to 10:00am on Saturday September 10. The walk will be on sidewalks, paved streets, and some gravel roads. Walking route will pass the Hyde County Courthouse and other points of interest.

Driving to the start
6th Street and Iowa Avenue, Highmore SD. From Redfield SD take US-281 South for 29 miles to US Highway 14. Turn right on US-14 for 48 Miles to SD Highway 47, (Iowa Avenue). Turn left, south, on Iowa Ave. for .9 mile to 6th street. Turn left for one block to Commercial Avenue. Then turn right on Commercial Ave. The Elmer Quirk Memorial Park will be on the right, parking along the street. The start point is in a picnic shelter in the park.
