This is a National Walking Week activity hosted by the Mid-America Regional Director to raise funds for the AVA and to spread awareness of AVA activites with the goal of generating one or more new clubs. Currently active Volkssporters are asked to please wear AVA apparel and may be conscripted on site to assist with the event. Pets must be leashed, and the owner is responsible for the removal of any waste.

Walk incorporates existing unimproved trails along the Cumberland River and the bluffs overlooking the river valley.

Driving to the start
The Start Point is in the vicinity of the parking area by the Cumberland Falls State Resort Park Visitor's Center, 7351 Kentucky Route 90, Corbin, KY 40701. From Interstate I-75 Exit 25 in Corbin, KY, take US 25W headed Westbound. At the intersection of US 25W and Kentucky Route 90 TURN RIGHT onto KY Route 90 to continue in a Westerly direction. After seven and a quarter miles you will see signage directing you to the Cumberland Falls State Resort Park Visitor's Center, which you should encounter signage for the Volksmarch.
