Many of the city’s buildings today reflect the heritage left by early German settlers. Monroe County Courthouse Bandshell, 100 South Main Street, Waterloo, IL 62298. From I-255 take Exit 6 onto IL Hwy 3 toward Columbia. Drive (10 miles) to Waterloo. Turn left (2nd traffic light) onto N. Market St (1.5 miles). Turn right onto E. 3rd Street. Park along E. 3rd or S. Main Street.From Belleville, drive approx. 11.5 miles southwest on IL-158. Merge south onto IL Route 3 for 6 miles. Turn left (2nd traffic light) onto N. Market St. (1.5 miles). Turn right onto E. 3rd St. Park along E. 3rd or S. Main.
