Event comments
The trail consists of two 5K routes. One 5K route will walk through the campus buildings and on a bike trail. (This trail is suitable for strollers but may have a few difficult sections.) The second 5K trail will go through the gardens of SIUE, and on a dirt trail through the woods. (Anyone not wanting to walk through the woods can use an alternate path on a bike trail).

Event information
This event is open to the public and will take place regardless of weather. Parking is free. Dogs are not allowed on campus. Water and restrooms are available at the start/finish. Gateway Milers walking club charges $3 for each walker. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. This is a credit only event.

Driving to the start
Southern Illinois University Edwardsville 6 Hairpin Dr, Edwardsville, IL 62026 Directions: From St Louis, MO: Follow I-270E, from I- 255 go east on I- 270; exit at Rt. 157 (exit 9); turn left (north). Continue straight past light ( Do not run right on Rt. 157). Go past the campus buldings, pass Circle Dr. and make a U-turn, come back to Circle Dr. and turn right onto Circle Dr. Turn left at the Vadalebene Center and left to park near the north side of Alumni Hall
