Providing spectacular views of the Golden Gate Bridge, the Land's End 5 and 10 K routes take you along San Francisco's unique Land's End trail to the Palace of Legion of Honor, the mansions of the Sea Cliff neighborhood, through historic Fort Miley with WWII bunkers, down to the ruins of the fabulous Sutro Baths and finally through Sutro Heights Park for stunning views of Ocean Beach and maybe a whale! Best parking is in the Lands End Lookout parking lot down the hill. Do not leave valuables in the car!Restrooms available across the street and down the hill at Lands End Lookout. Walking sticks recommended on some sections of the trail.

Driving to the start box
545 Point Lobos at 48th Av, San Francisco. N BAY: US-101 S/GG Bridge, 19th/Park Presidio exit (438). Right on Geary. Geary becomes Point Lobos. Continue to 48th. Seal Rock Inn on left. S BAY: 101N to Daly City 380W to connect with I-280N (Exit 5A), take John Daly Blvd exit (49A) and get into left lanes for John Daly Blvd. Follow to end at Skyline Blvd and turn right. at Great Hwy, turn left. Continue on Great Hwy to S.R.Inn on Point Lobos at 48th, just past the Cliff House. E BAY: Bay Bridge/I-80W merge to US-101 N to Golden Gate Bridge. Exit 434A merge to US-101 N/Octavia, exit and keep Left to Octavia. Continue to Fell and turn left. Right on Masonic. Left on Fulton. Right on Great Highway. Great Highway becomes Point Lobos past the Cliff House. At 48th Ave. Seal Rock Inn on Rightt.
