Hiking sticks and hiking boots recommended. Hills are involved. Carry your own water, bathrooms available. Dogs on leash only. There is a 3 km loop on pavement that is uphill but suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. Qualifies for the TX Hill Country and El Camino Real de los Tejas Special Programs.

Driving to the start box
From downtown San Antonio, take I-10 northwest about 14 miles. Take Exit 556B. Continue on Frontage Road to the Drury Inn.(Drury Inn and Suites, 15806 I-10W) After registering you will drive to Eisenhower Park, 19399 N.W. Military Hwy, 78257. Exit 1604 on Military Highway. 4 miles to park entrance.
