The park entrance gate is closed one hour before sunset. No pets allowed in the park. Restrooms and water are available at the start of the walk. The Park is closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

Event information
Friedrich Wilderness Park is a natural area. The Park has improved trails and runs through traditional hill country scenery. The 12k is rated 2C; the 10k is rated 3C; the 5k is rated 1B. Hiking Boots and poles recommended. Park opens daily at 7:30am.

Driving to the start box
From downtown San Antonio, take I-10 northwest about 14 miles. Take Exit 556B. Continue on Frontage Road to the Drury Inn. (15806 I -10W 78249 SW corner of Interstate 10 and Loop 1604) After registering, take I-10 West to Exit 552 (Dominion), continue W on I-10 Frontage for 1.5 miles. LEFT at Dominion, which becomes Milsa Drive. Friedrich Park is on right.
