Alternate 6Km walk around Lake Carolyn on Promenade. Another alternate 5Km Walk requires a short drive across SH 114 to University of Dallas Campus. This walk is rated a 2B because of hills. Wheel Chairs will find this walk difficult due to several sets of steps leading down to and up from the promenade around Lake Carolyn.

Event information
Walk Box is located in brown Concierge's Cabinet to right as you enter front door of the Hotel. The route is on Paved Trails and sidewalks, along the promenade around the Mandalay Canal and Lake Carolyn. See the marble cows and the Ben Carpenter Statute in Founders Park and the Mustangs of Las Colinas in Williams Square. This walk is best done in the early evening hours as the view of the setting sun from across the lake over the near by skyline is a beautiful sight to see.

Driving to the start box
223 Las Colinas W, Blvd, Irving 75039-5404. 972-831-0000. N on I-35E, go S, Exit 436. Stay right at Loop 12 S (signs for Loop 12 S/Irving/DFW Airport). Exit to Grapevine/DFW Airport/TX-114. Right, continue on TX-114. Right on N OConnor BLVD. Left on Las Colinas. Start Point 1 block on right. From S on I-35 E, stay left, exit TX-183 W (signs for Irving/DFW Airport/TX-183/TX-114). Stay right, exit TX-114 W (signs for Grapevine/DFW Airport N entry/TX- 114). Right on N OConnor then same as above.
