Event information
Peet's Coffee is open daily 6am-5pm; call for holiday hours. Start box is located in the back room and you need to ask an employee to retrieve it. Water/restrooms are at the start/midpoint/finish. This route consists of 2 loops, the 1st loop is 5k with an optional 1k loop, the 2nd loop is 6k. Enjoy the peacefulness of paved paths along Elk Grove Creek's seasonal watershed; home to salamanders, turtles, frogs, egrets, great blue herons, and the endangered Swainson hawk. Also explore Elk Grove's new Rain Garden.

Driving to the start box
8234 Laguna Blvd, Ste 100, Elk Grove, CA 95758, (916) 683-7191. Take Hwy 99 south from Sacramento. Exit Laguna Blvd (west). Left at 1st stoplight using the right-hand turn lane onto Laguna Springs Dr, quick right after gas station into small shopping center, right at Leatherby's, Peet's is last business on the left. Please leave closest parking stalls for Peet's customers. Park left of Leatherby's.
