Event information
To check trail closures (weather, hunting, conservation efforts), call (830) 796-4413 or check the HCNA Facebook page. This is a primitive area, so prepare accordingly -- bring anything you will need (e.g., water, food). There is a $6/person entrance fee (and the $3 walk fee) unless you have a Texas State Park Pass. There is a level 5km alternate route (gravel service road) for those who do not wish to attempt the more challenging routes.

Driving to the start box
10600 Bandera Creek. HCNA is located 12 miles southwest of Bandera on FM 1077. Driving south from Bandera on Main Street (TX-173/RR-689), turn right on FM 1077 and drive 10.5 miles. Start Box is under the bench on the front porch.
