Event comments
The walk consists of two 5k routes that intersect at the starting point. Both are primarily on city sidewalks and streets. The north-side route explores several local parks and the riverside, as well as passing through the business center and past the Benton County Courthouse with its clock tower. The south-side runs primarily through neighborhoods, past beautiful Victorian homes, schools and the Braille and Sight Saving School. This walk qualifies for the 2023 Iowa Counties Program, Benton County.

John's Qwik Stop can be difficult to find and Google maps places it on B Ave instead of C Ave. John's Qwik Shop is comprised of two businesses, A&W and BP gas station. The entrance to the building is labeled as JQS.
