Trail will take you on unpaved paths on the lower trail of Cowboy Hill. The second part will be through historical downtown area.

Driving to the start box
The Rushmore Plaza Holiday Inn is at 505 N 5th Street. 1.5 miles south of I-90 (exit 58) - adjacent to the Civic Center. Park away from entrance. Registration is at the front desk in a box.
