Welcome to the Cowboy Capital of the World! Visit a place where everything you ever heard about Texas still exists. Walk the City of Bandera, also the County Seat of Bandera County. You will pass places with interesting history along the route, see some countryside and maybe even a Wild West gunfight on Main Street. The Visitors Bureau is open Monday-Friday 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm. Closed on Sundays and holidays.

Registration, walk directions, and stamp can be found in a binder on the porch to the left of the entrance. Please enter the building to peruse information on the local area if interested. Driving to the start box
126 State Hwy 16 Located just northeast of the intersection with Main Street, the Visitors Bureau is housed in a rock building with a red roof and sits back from the street with parking in the front.
