Event comments
This is a former Turnaround Trekkers walk.You will walk the entire length of the "Prom"(enade), passing the Seaside Aquarium and a statue of Lewis & Clark at "The Turnaround" and on the boardwalk beside the Necanicum River. Visit site of the Lewis & Clark Saltworks, which is part of Lewis & Clark National Park. Route passes the city library, the firehouse, city hall (site of the former railroad depot), the Seaside Historical Society Museum (Butterfield Cottage) and the Carousel. Scenic walk through a coastal beach resort. Mostly flat route on sidewalks, except for a short path over soft sand to view Necanicum River estuary and a short stretch along an ocean beach dune path.WOC - Ocean, Quality, Queen, River, Statues, Zodiac and Zoo. Daily, dawn to dusk. Drive about a mile to start walk at Seaside Convention Center, 415 1st Ave. (Driving directions on walk instructions)

2369 S Roosevelt. Hwy 101 to Seaside. Register at Motel 6, just S of traffic light on Hwy 101/Roosevelt at Ave U. File cabinet containing registration materials is in the Conference Room adjacent to the motel lobby.
