Event information
This walk is held in conjunction with the celebration of Veteran's Day at the Virginia Peninsula Community College (formerly Thomas Nelson CC). The walk will be on sidewalks and shoulders of roads. The 10 KM walk will go on the Matteson Trail around The Hamptons Golf Course, which is paved.

Driving to the start
600 Butler Farm Rd, Hampton, VA. Take I-64 to Exit 261A to Hampton Roads Center Parkway W and continue to the traffic signal at Big Bethel Rd. Turn RIGHT on Big Bethel Rd and continue to the next traffic signal at Thomas Nelson Dr. Turn RIGHT and continue just past the next traffic signal past the campus parking lots to the next building, PWDC. Turn LEFT into the parking lot.
