Event comments

Our walk goes through residential areas along the St. Johns River with beautiful old trees and views of the river. The route passes St. Margaret's Episcopal Church and Cemetery. It is an historic Carpenter Gothic church and cemetery located in Hibernia, on Fleming Island, Florida, in the United States. On June 4, 1973, the church and its cemetery, which is also known as the Hibernia Cemetery, were added to the National Register of Historic Places.

Fee for all walkers is $3. Water and restrooms are available at the Start. In Florida it is suggested that you carry your own drinking water, sunscreen and insect repellant.

Driving to the start

From I-295, take US 17 South (Park Ave.) Hibernia Rd is slightly less than 9 miles south of I-295. Fleming Plantation Blvd is to the right at the traffic light. You will turn left onto Hibernia Rd at the light and then left into the Publix parking lot. Map: http://goo.gl/maps/DKKGP
