Event information

The walk goes through historic Bristol Borough including the riverfront, the southern end of the Delaware canal, the downtown shopping district, public parks and the Harriman historic district. Bristol is known for the 1961 pop hit "The Bristol Stomp" which is still popular there. A 10k and 5k guided walk will be provided.

how to get to the event

Driving to the start

Along Delaware River near the Mill and Radcliffe Street intersection, Bristol PA. 1. From the PA turnpike (I-276): Travel EAST toward New Jersey. About 5 miles after Exit 353 (Street Road) the turnpike merges and becomes I-95 N. Take Exit 42 (US 13 Levittown/Bristol) and then turn RIGHT onto US-13 S/Bristol Pike. Go 1.4 mile and turn LEFT onto Bath St (Sunoco gas station on corner). Go 0.4 mile and turn slightly LEFT onto Mill St. Follow Mill St to the end. The start point is in the park in front of you. You can choose from two parking lots: A. Turn LEFT and then RIGHT to enter the Market St lot or B. Turn RIGHT to enter the Canal Basin lot.
