Event comments
Food trucks, arts & crafts tents and live entertainment are available in Centennial Park. The festival runs from Friday through Sunday but our walk is on Saturday, While in town also take the opportunity to admire the sandstone buildings that line the route. The 10k route takes you past the golf course (Par for the Course). While it town check out the Mammoth Site.

Driving to the start
From Rapid take Hwy 79 south to Cup Travel Plaza (Maverick Junction) 45 miles, Turn right (west) onto Hwy 18 (Jensen Hwy) 5 miles to Lynn's Dakota Mart at 505 S. 6th St. From Hill City take Hwy 385, turn left on N. River St. and follow the route through Hot Springs to the start point at Lynn's Dakota Mart.
