Event comments
After the holiday walk enjoy hot chocolate and smores roasted on an open fire pit. Visit the Booth House for cookies, cider and live music. Have your picture taken with Santa. You can double-up by also walking the Spearfish Town YR walk. We will walk to the starting point of the YR for those that want to register for the town walk and then continue the town walk after enjoying the festivities at the hatchery.

Pets on the trail must be leashed but they will not be allowed in the Booth House.

Driving to the start
From I-90 Interstate: Take Exit 12, travel West on Jackson Blvd, Turn left on Canyon St, Continue south six blocks to City Park. Look for yellow Volksmarch sign. The DC Booth Fish Hatchery is on your right. Meet at the Gazebo before entering the hatchery to register for the group walk at 1 pm.
