Driving to the start
12703 Outlaw Ranch Rd., Custer, SD. Take 16A east of Custer for 3 miles, turn left at Outlaw Ranch sign... American Creek Rd., follow curve of narrow oil road that turns into gravel for 1.25 miles. At sign for Outlaw Ranch, turn right. Look for yellow BHVA signs.
