Event comments

The walk starts at a city park away from downtown and the Pumkinfest activities (10am-6:00). Bring a lunch and take advantage of the picnic area. Also, the golf course across from the Start Location has a snack bar. The walk will go downtown as well as through old neighborhoods. Also a paved portion of the Great Redwood Trail, including a Sound Garden! That is fun! The Grace Hudson Museum open 10-4:30, next to the Great Redwood Trail, highlights regional art, cultural & natural history. Admission $5, seniors $4. Tours available for the Sun House. (GraceHudsonMuseum.org) We'll be having a group walk of our Windsor Year Round Walk on Sunday Oct. 15. Farmers Market on the West loop. Consider staying overnight in Windsor (There's a World Mark there) or Ukiah Friday & Saturday nights. There are Little Free Libraries on both walks for those of you who have not yet completed your books. The Ukiah Rotary Club sponsors LFLs in 3 city parks. The 5k takes you to Observatory Park with some interesting history.
