Event comments
Walk through older established Carmichael neighborhoods to three different parks. Two of the parks are nicely developed with trails and playgrounds. The third park is a very large nature area that has not been developed but was planted with numerous eucalyptus trees years ago so that the forest is like being in Australia. (11k=6.8 miles, 5k=3.1 miles)

Event information
CA Counties: Sacramento. (5k = 3.1 miles, 11k = 6.8 miles) Store hours 6AM-12AM, except Monday: 7AM to 5PM. Box is located to the left of the entrance next to the ice machine. Event fees are $4 for credit walkers and $2 for non-credit walkers. "Free walkers" are no longer allowed.

Foodmaxx, 4708 Manzanita Ave, Carmichael, CA 95608.Start box is located to the left of the entrance beside the ice box. Please take the box outside to sign in so you don't impact their business. Driving directions: From I-80: Take exit 98 for Greenback Ln/Elkhorn Blvd. From westbound I-80 turn left onto Greenback/Elkhorn. From eastbound I-80 turn right on Greenback/Elkhorn. Turn left onto Garfield Ave. Left onto Madison Ave. Right onto Manzanita Ave. Foodmaxx will be on your left.
