Event comments
This walk provides a variety of settings, something for everyone to enjoy. Much of the route meanders beside tranquil Laguna and Whitehouse Creeks on shady paths and through wetlands where birds and other wildlife can be observed. The route consists of 2 equidistant 5k routes, the 1st being a loop on parkways in the pleasant community of Camden Passage and the 2nd loop is a walk through charming neighborhoods, both old and new, passing under a railroad trestle.

CA Counties: Sacramento. (5k = 3.1 miles, 10k = 6.2 miles). Restaurant open daily, 4:30am to 8pm; call for holiday hours. Start box is on the left side as you enter, next to the service counter.

Driving to the start box
8868 Bond, Ste 100, Elk Grove, CA 95624, (916) 686-2140. From Hwy 99 go south from Sacramento. Exit Bond Rd east (left) and drive approx 1 mile. Starbucks is on the right in the Walgreens/Wells Fargo strip mall. From Hwy 50 take Watt Ave south. Street name eventually changes to Elk Grove/Florin Rd. Cross Bond Rd and immediately turn right into the Walgreens/Wells Fargo strip mall. Starbucks is past Wells Fargo.
