This is a hilly area that will thoroughly stretch your calves, but it is quite picturesque. Restrooms are in Village Park behind the Clubhouse; and on the American River Parkway before you cross the pedestrian bridge. CA Counties: Sacramento. (5K=3.1 miles, 10K=6.2 miles)Walk through this historic and quaint town known for its roaming chickens, starting at Plaza and Village parks. The 10K runs through residential areas to the American River Parkway, across the American River on the Jim Jones Pedestrian Bridge and circles back to Fair Oaks via the Old Fair Oaks Bridge. The 5K stays in Old Town and takes you over the Old Bridge across the American River and back.

10223 Fair Oaks Blvd., Fair Oaks, CA 95628.From Hwy 50 E or W, take Sunrise Blvd. north to Fair Oaks Blvd. (1st light after crossing river), turn right on Fair Oaks Blvd. Turn left on first street to continue on Fair Oaks Blvd. The start location is on the 2nd block on the left. From I80 E, turn right on Madison Ave. Turn right on Sunrise Blvd. Turn left on Fair Oaks Blvd. The start location will be on the left.
