Event comments
Camp Verde was established in 1856 for camels to be tested as pack animals for the Union Army. The site is in the National Register of Historic Landmarks. All walkers must pay the $3.00 registration fee. Children 12 and under may walk free without credit. Water and fruit will be available at the checkpoints.
