This pleasurable walk is memorable in the early morning and near dusk as the sun reflects on the fast moving river. Watch for birds and deer as well as other wildlife along the trail. Be sure to walk on the left side of the bike path for safety as this trail is heavily used by cyclists. Keep dogs closely reined.

610 Watt Ave, Sacramento, CA 95864 (916) 484-1579. From US 50 take Watt Ave exit North, cross Fair Oaks Blvd, turn right just past gas station. Starbucks is in the strip mall facing Watt Ave. Park at the end of strip mall and around back.
