Event information

Two 5K walks, separated by an 8-minute drive. STONY CREEK is a village on Long Island Sound which was a summer vacation location with old Victorian hotels. This walk offers a shoreline with views of the Thimble Islands. Many foundations are made of the pink granite that was produced in Stony Creek and used Statue of Liberty foundation. The SHORELINE GREENWAY trail, in the Pine Orchard section of Branford, features a beautiful labyrinth. The route proceeds west into the attractive Cemetery, which originally served quarry workers from Sweden.
